Many people get overlapped appointments due to their preferences (or their EHR preferences). After changing their preferences, we let them know where the problem was.

We reviewed your case and we found out that all of the appointments that Holly overlapped in, have the preference “allow overlapping” in your [EHR] block, was enabled. Holly is a slave to your preferencesthe [EHR]'s configuration, and so when she sees this checked, she sees it as "fair game" to book patients over it.
